Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Sagar Kalsaria, the operator of Solvefield. They apply to the Solvefield mobile app and its supporting online services.
For an app obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms supplement that agreement and do not take away rights that cannot legally be limited.
Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you are not old enough to do so where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. Solvefield is not directed to children under 13.
Accounts
Practice can be used as a guest. Online and social features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Usernames and display names are visible to other players through profiles, leaderboards, friends, rooms, and matches. Do not use a name that impersonates someone, violates another person’s rights, exposes private information, or is abusive or unlawful.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Separate Apple, Google, and password sign-ins may create separate Solvefield accounts.
Fair play and acceptable use
You may use Solvefield for personal, non-commercial puzzle play. You must not:
- cheat, automate competitive play, submit fabricated moves, manipulate Elo or XP, collude, or exploit a bug for an unfair result;
- interfere with matchmaking, rooms, leaderboards, servers, or another player’s use;
- probe, bypass, reverse engineer, or defeat security or access controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use room codes or social features to harass, impersonate, threaten, or share unlawful content;
- resell, sublicense, scrape, or commercially exploit the service without written permission.
Server-validated records control competitive outcomes. A device clock, local completion flag, or modified client does not establish a ranked result.
License and ownership
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Solvefield on devices you own or control, consistent with the app store’s rules.
Solvefield’s app design, software, text, artwork, branding, puzzle presentation, and service are owned by the operator or licensed contributors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses.
Your feedback may be used to improve Solvefield without payment or obligation, but you keep ownership of any rights you already hold in that feedback.
Online service and results
Online play depends on connectivity, compatible devices, account availability, and server capacity. Matchmaking, rooms, progress signals, ratings, XP, leaderboards, and rewards may be delayed, corrected, invalidated, or reset when needed to resolve an error, abuse, or an unfair result.
Room codes are invitations. Share them only with people you intend to invite. The host controls puzzle selection and the start of a supported multiplayer room; participants are responsible for leaving a room they do not want to join.
Solvefield may add, change, suspend, or discontinue puzzles or online features. Updates may be required for continued use. There is no promise that a particular opponent, puzzle, rating, rank, saved result, or feature will always remain available.
Privacy
The Solvefield Privacy Policy explains how account, gameplay, social, local-device, and service data is handled. By using online features, you direct Solvefield to process the information needed to provide those features.
Disclaimers
Solvefield is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. Puzzle generation, device behavior, networks, and third-party services can fail or produce interruptions.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, rank, opportunity, profit, or goodwill arising from Solvefield. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid specifically for Solvefield in the preceding 12 months or the minimum amount required by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Solvefield at any time and may delete your account from Profile. The operator may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect players or the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material violation of these terms.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions—will survive.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when Solvefield, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this page when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
