Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Solvefield mobile app and its supporting online services, operated by Sagar Kalsaria. You can play local Practice puzzles without creating an account. Online social and competitive features require an account and a network connection.
Data we handle
Account and profile data
- Your chosen display name and searchable username.
- A persistent account identifier, authentication status, and session credentials.
- Your name and email address if you choose Apple or Google sign-in and that provider supplies them.
Passwords are processed by Amazon Cognito for authentication. Solvefield does not receive or store a readable copy of your password.
Gameplay and social data
- Puzzle and match identifiers, server start and completion times, move or replay data submitted for validation, completion status, and match outcomes.
- Elo rating, XP, level, win/loss/draw totals, solved count, leaderboard results, and reward history.
- Friend requests and connections, challenge state, room codes, room membership, puzzle choices, readiness, progress percentages, and rematch choices.
Service and network data
The online service processes short-lived connection identifiers and realtime tickets so matches can reconnect and update. Hosting providers may process ordinary request metadata, such as network address and timestamps, to deliver and secure requests. Application logs are designed to exclude passwords, authorization tokens, and request bodies.
How we use data
- Authenticate your account and keep sessions secure.
- Provide profiles, friends, rooms, matchmaking, live progress, rematches, rankings, XP, and leaderboards.
- Replay and validate competitive moves, prevent duplicate rewards, and protect fair play.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve reliability of the service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Use.
We do not use Solvefield data for targeted advertising.
Data on your device
Solvefield stores Practice puzzle recipes, puzzle state, moves, elapsed time, app settings, pending rewards, and unfinished live-match drafts locally so Practice remains useful offline and interrupted play can recover. Authentication credentials are kept in operating-system secure storage where supported.
Local Practice data is not server account data. Deleting your account does not remove those local fields. You can remove them by deleting the app or clearing its app storage. Doing that may also remove unsynced progress.
Service providers and disclosure
Solvefield uses Amazon Web Services for authentication, APIs, realtime connections, database storage, encryption, and operational logs. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, the selected provider processes the sign-in under its own privacy terms and shares the approved identity details with Solvefield.
These providers receive only the data needed to perform their services and are expected to protect it under their agreements and applicable law. Data may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer where the recipient continues to honor this policy.
Because these providers operate internationally, data may be processed outside your country. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are used where required.
Retention and deletion
Profile, social, progression, ranking, and account-linked competitive records are generally kept while your account remains active. Temporary matchmaking, challenge, room, connection, and realtime records are configured to expire automatically—usually within minutes or hours after they are no longer active. Application logs are retained for 14 days.
When you delete your account, Solvefield removes the active account, profile, social connections, sessions, and account-linked server records. A limited deletion marker is retained for up to 30 days to prevent immediate recreation of the deleted identity. Removal from encrypted backups and distributed-system cleanup may take additional limited time where permitted by law. Data may be kept longer only where required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can play Practice as a guest, decline Apple or Google sign-in, change the username once where the app permits, remove friends, sign out, or stop using online features.
To delete an account in the app, open Profile → Account deletion → Delete account and confirm. To request access, correction, or deletion assistance, email skalsaria288@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Your rights depend on the law where you live.
Security
Solvefield uses encrypted network connections, managed authentication, scoped service permissions, encryption at rest, protected deployment storage, and server-side validation for competitive results. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and keep your device and sign-in provider secure.
Children
Solvefield is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as Solvefield’s features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this page when appropriate.
